Joseph John (JJ) Dewey

Yes, that is a picture of JJ that you find at the top of this and each page here at "JJ Writings." This picture of him was taken at a "Gathering" held in McCall Idaho, USA, in 2002.

JJ was born on February 6, 1945, right at the 45th parallel, midway between the North Pole and the Equator. This seems appropriate since he has placed so much focus on the "Middle Way Principle." For more insight, you are invited to view his astrological chart.

Except for short out-of-state excursions, he has spent the majority of his childhood and adult life in Idaho (USA); and, he presently resides with his wife in Boise, Idaho, where he runs a sign and printing business.

JJ, an author and lecturer is best known for his books called the "Immortal" series. The first is The Immortal (Books 1 & 2) published in 1998. These were followed by The Lost Key of the Buddha (Book 3) and Eternal Words (Book 4). He has written numerous other books that he prints on demand for those who want to read more.

For close to a decade JJ has been teaching an ongoing class called the Keys of Knowledge. This has produced thousands of free articles available to seekers at his website and this one.

Some wonder why he takes time out of his already busy life to give freely of his time to other seekers. He says it is because of a strong belief that to move higher in spiritual evolution and knowledge one must assist others. "As you give out, even so do you receive," he says.

The Keys of Knowledge spiritual discussion group was created in 1998 in order to discuss JJ Dewey's first book "The Immortal." The original list was hosted on Spiritweb, but later migrated to Yahoo Groups when Spiritweb closed.

You do not have to join "The Keys" nor join Yahoo Groups in order to visit and read what JJ and others post there. However, as a member of "The Keys" you will be able to directly ask questions of JJ that you might have about his writings and teachings.

The (Keys) Archives -- And This Website (JJ Writings.Com)

While the content here at "JJ Writings" is stated to feature the writings found at JJ Dewey's main website, it may be said that this more of a "tribute website" than anything else. If that is the perception, then so be it. However, it is also the intention to not just create a clone of the main body of JJ's writings, but to provide a kind of "Reader's Digest" -- or abbreviated version of that greater body of work that will enable a visitor to get a quick snap-shot of what is available if they wish to dig deeper.

If this is your first visit to this section of the website, you may find it useful to read the "What's New" page. Even if you are a return visitor, "What's New" is always a good place to quickly identify the latest changes that have occurred not only within "The Archives" but throughout the entire website -- as you will discover there is a commitment here at "JJ Writings" to provide new content on a regular basis.

The Keys Archives is where posts to both discussion groups made by JJ Dewey mentioned above are now archived, and are where many of the links found here at JJ Writings terminate. The content of the original post has been extracted and reformatted into an easy-to-read, web browser friendly document which is referred to as an "article."
