November 2008:
Featuring inspirational and spiritual quotes and quotations from the writings of
JJ Dewey:
January - October 2008:
On the "outside" it appears that nothing much has been going on at "JJWritings" -- however, this is
not the case, as we have been slowly and surely updating things that are "under the hood"
(like updating "the code"); doing general reorganization and "clean-up" in order to make your
visit here more positive.
As most of these changes have been "invisible" in nature, and address issues that
are of little interest to the casual visitor, we felt that it was not necessary to make any public
announcements concerning them.
As soon as we finish the "re-coding" and, we will then begin to add new content and will announce those
new additions to the content here.
In the meantime, if something does not "look right" in your browser, or you run into any other
experiences that detract from your stay here, we would appreciate you taking the time to let us
know about it.

We realize we haven't made any significant additions to JJWritings over the past month, and here's why:
Today, JJ Dewey posted a message at The Keys announcing the launch of a new website called
SynthesisNet.Com.
This is what he had to say about it:
"I've had on the shelf for some time the idea of creating a news type
of page similar to the Drudge Report in format but of interest to
seekers, philosophers, new agers and those just seeking the unusual."
We ask that you visit the new website and "take it for a spin." and see -- and tell us what you think about it.

You can be assured that as soon as we finish attending to the details of getting JJ's new website up and running we will again focus on adding
new content here for you at JJWritings.

A translation project of that was started, completed, put online by Mark D. Williams -- and then, taken down -- has now been resurrected and is now here
at "JJ Writings.Com." The project was different 16 translations of "The Song Of The 144,000".
We are still in the process of "smoothing out the kinks and fleshing out the lean spots," -- and hope that you check back with us
as we have a couple of new projects that will give you some new and interesting content to look at.

are posted. These articles are taken from his posts at The Keys spiritual discussion group mentioned above and
from other discussion groups where he participates.
Other Developments:
We realize that "JJ Writings.Com" has NOT been updated for several years.
And for this we sincerely apologize to anyone who has visited here in the past and have found their experience to be something less than positive.
As of October 10, 2007. we have begun to rectify this situation and have begun in earnest to turn things around.
However the repair process is going to take time, and we ask for your patience as we address all these the relevant issues. Please be
aware that if you visit pages other than which are listed below, that you may find problems with the links found in both
the body of the pages and the website navigational links associated with that page.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you in the past, or causes you during your visit now.
We are working very diligently to resolve all of these problems.
October 17, 2007:
We are in the process of making major changes to the organization of directories and documents. However, we are doing our best to
minimize the impact on viewing any of the documents for which there exists a link. We mention this as you may find that there are
two similarly named documents that show-up in different categories on different pages. This is purposeful; and these "duplicates"
will continue until such time as we have the new section in place, all the documents transferred, and the pages, links and code de-bugged
and validated. Also this way you will still be able to access and read any document from a link that appears on a page for. When these
transfers are complete, we will then remove the old links, and we will also insert "redirects" so that anyone attempting to
access one of the old documents in an old directory will be automatically redirected to the new directory and document.
Also you will notice that some of the new pages (categories) appear at the moment to be a bit sparse. Again, this is due to the
transferring of documents into and between the new basic categories of JJ's writings: Articles, Essays, Treatises and Books.
You will still continue to see the old categories of writings appear in the body and navigational links on various pages, and as the
documents are moved you will begin to see them often seem to appear in two separate places in two separate categories. Again, this
is purposeful. As time progresses you will also begin to see one category shrink in size and another grow. Eventually the one that
is shrinking will disappear altogether and the one that is growing will take it's place.
This all will take one or two more weeks to accomplish, and therefore, we continue to ask your patience during this transition period.
October 15, 2007:

As we complete each page we will post them here on the "What's New" page.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The links on the pages above have been reviewed, and repaired -- but other pages off of the pages identified above have not
yet been checked or repaired.
What we mean when we say or use the word "repair" is, is that we do NOT recommend that
you use (click on) ANY external links or website navigation links found anywhere on pages OTHER that those
we have identified above.
Instead we recommend using your browser's BACK button instead to navigate back to the pages listed above.
Again, we apologize for this inconvenience -- and please know that we are working very hard to fix these problems.
