It takes all kinds of people to make the world go round
The rich and poor -- the small and great -- to make things work out.
Every person that you meet has a different face,
But it takes every one of them to make the human race.
It takes all kinds, every kind you know
It takes all kinds to make the world go.
And you know that you're more than just another guy;
And you know that you're needed to set the world back in line.
And you know that life's more than a play
And you know that you should act that way.
In every day living you meet somebody new
And from every one of them, you learn a thing or two.
And watch the people passing by, walking down the street;
You don't know how many you shall someday meet.
It takes all kinds, every kind you know
It takes all kinds to make the world go.
And you know that you're more than just another guy;
And you know that you're needed to set the world back in line.
And you know that life's more than a play
And you know that you should act that way.
You say that your neighbors like to cause a fight
But if you would introspect, you'd make up tonight.
As this world goes around -- we're all in the same boat;
But if we help each other, we'll keep ourselves afloat.
It takes all kinds, every kind you know
It takes all kinds to make the world go.
And you know that you're more than just another guy;
And you know that you're needed to set the world back in line.
And you know that life's more than a play
And you know that you should act that way.
